Mr. Jacob Moule, of Kedron, who has died at the age of 78 years, was born at Murrurundi, New South Wales, and in his early years was engaged in shearing and droving, on one occasion being a member of a droving party which took a mob of cattle from the Gulf country to Melbourne, the journey occupying nearly a year. He was identified with the building trade in Brisbane for years, and was an employee of the Railway Department for 37 years. In 1885 he married Miss Elizabeth Pashen, of Bulimba. He is survived by his widow, four sons and three daughters: Messrs. W. S. and F. S. Moule, Redlynch; C. P. Moule, Kuranda; G. W. Moule, Freshwater; Mesdames J. P. Tyrrell, Darra; F. Czislowskl, Haigslea; and P. E. Vlertel, Kedron, also 19 grandchildren.
