George Edwin Callin (1886–1943)

Secretary George Callin, of the Gas Employees' Union, collapsed and died at the Central Railway Station on Friday night while waiting for a train.

He had been secretary of the union for 10 years.

He was a director of Labor Motor Funerals, Ltd., and of Century newspaper, and was a prominent supporter of Mr. J. T. Lang.
