Death of AWU organiser Mr. W. B. [William Bertie] Dale, former secretary of the Victorian Riverina branch of the Australian Workers Union, died at his Mortlake home last week.
Mr. Dale, 73, was a shearer for many years and became A.W.U. organiser in 1921. He was secretary of Riverina branch from 1925 to 1938.
Mr. Dale, who was a widower, is survived by sons John and William, and stepchildren George and Norma.
